Good morning Buddy110, Debbie MH (Lynn) and Brobox -
Buddy, we don't fish, but we appreciate Mother nature's Awesome creations, hence our itinerary next Summer that will take us, in part, from Minneapolis across ND to Montana and there: Big Sky/Ennis, Polson, Glacier, up to Calgary (Stampede), Banff over to Vancouver and down the Oregon coast into Northern California before heading back east to Florida, where we live.
Right now, we're planning to stay at the Ennis Village RV park to visit the area including Virginia City. We also plan to spend some time (probably) at the "Inn on the Gallatin" between Big Sky and Bozeman. Our plan has us in Montana from mid-June until July.
We traveled the Utah parks, Yellowstone & South Dakota in 2017 and that was awesome, so we want to see some other areas that we didn't visit on that trip. With Lynn's suggestion, now considering the Ouray area on our way back. Have always wanted to go to Silverton.
Thanks for any and all suggestions on what not to miss....
McGarrett

Probably late but (Thanks to Marc) we found a great small CG right on the water in Oregon. Sea Perch in Yachts. Reserve VERY early - smaill is the key word but we were right on the Pacific.
Also stayed at the Lewis and Clark Golf and RV Resort in Astoria Perfect place for the history of Lewis and Clark. As I recall Golf was on the honor system!
We also really enjoy Morrison's Lodge and staying nearby in Grant's Pass at Bridgeview RV Resort. Owner made wonderful cookies every day.

Sounds like a great trip! Keep us in the loop. The Galitan river is such a scenic place. If you've ever watched the movie "A river runs through it" Much of the fishing scenes were filmed there. I have fished the same stretches and it is breathtaking. ENJOY!
