Interesting. My 2014 ISL 450hp only takes 26qts not 29qts.

Take a class

If you get a few hours training at a technical college, you can change your own oil and filters. Proper disposing of waste oil and filters is very important. I have 25 years experience repairing and servicing semis, buses and oilfield equipment. 12 gallons of synthetic oil @ $30 a gallon plus filters will cost more than $450. If you add in an air filter, you are close to $550.

Which is exactly why I am happy to pay Speedco roughly 350 - $450 to perform all of my services, plus lube for me instead of dealing with all of that at home. Plus I usually get a computer analysis of my old oil included for the same price.

You don't need training, you just need to be a contortionist.

In all seriousness, I did my last change, but am getting the next one done at a local shop. They are charging me less than what I would pay for parts if I were to do it myself.

....
I hear you there. Actually the oil and filter change isn't bad at all. getting to some of the grease zerks does require a bit of "limberness". The only tough part on the engine service is the fan drive gearbox. You need really long arms to deal with that.

Wideglide.... I assume that it is not for a 450, but IS for an X-15 which DOES require 51 quarts.
