Oil change, fuel filters and lube

I just had oil changed (51) qts oil filter, fuel filters and grease job for $450. Plus tax.
I think Cummins Spartan, dealers and a few other shops are just a wee bit high at $600 for just oil change and lube.

Did you watch and VERIFY it was a good job-- oil not over/under filled? All grease zirks lubed? ETC?

I suspect Noel paid close attention.

That's a good deal for all that service. Our mobile guy did ours last month for that along with ginny service and it was about the same. I assisted him at his request (may have increased the price). I did not mind got to learn and visually inspect the coach as well.

Yes I watched them pretty close and I think they were very competent. I did not crawl under the Mh, but he told me how many zeros he greased. Oil change on my last Cornerstone was about $600 at Cummins.

That, or a little less, is what you should expect to pay at the SpeedCo locations. It is definitely what I pay for those services here at the local (Greenwood, LA (Shreveport, LA)) Speedco. And you can stand in the bays and watch them do their job. I dont think you can go into the pit, but you can observe everything else, and I think that for that money, I also got a computerized analysis of the oil they removed, which can give you some important early warnings about engine operation and wear.

Since they were bought by Petro (or whatever big company it was), some locations do not do motorcoaches, and other locations charge higher fees for motorhomes. I just call ahead and make sure all is clear before I go.

That is what i paid for my full service , with added $200 for the genny service ..out the door was around $600

Here in North Bend Washington Cascade Diesel Truck & RV Repair. Convenient as we were staying next door at the Nor West RV park. Nice quiet clean park with storage shed included.

Cornerstone takes twice as much oil as the Anthem.
