Ordering a New Cornerstone
Been giving a long hard thought about ordering a new 2024 Cornerstone. Anyone having ideas or comments on what to look for or questions I should ask please share your thoughts.
Thanks, Sammie

If you hate polishing wheels, ask them to substitute Alcoa Dura Bright Evo wheels. Newmar uses them. They never need polishing.

Do your best to buy whatever you decide from NIRVC.

I'll second that. All deliveries are asked to spend at least 4 day on site checking everything out and having any adjustments made before leaving.

I would also use NIRVC.
With Entegra not many options to add on but you have to decide on floor plan, outside colors, inside colors, and a couple of other inside choices.
Even after the floor plan choice you have some floor plan like options. Example: We went with the fireplace and coffee bar counter / wine fridge option instead of the second sofa. Of course all choices have pro’s and con’s.
If you are going to sell your coach own I would go with NIRVC’s in and out program. You find your buyer and let NIRVC handle the sale. You basically sell the coach to NIRVC and they sell it to the buyer. You get a big sale tax break on your new coach that way. I used RVTrader and used the in / out program with no issues.
Have a heathy expectation around how many months it will take to get your coach.
I agree with what Chuck said. Spend some time at delivery in your coach. Use it, do a day trip or two, set up and pack up, etc…. We spent 6 days and new items can up during our stay. We were able to get some challenges resolved while on site at NIRVC. We certainly had more problems after that first week but it helped to get some things dealt with from the start.
Good Luck

Avoid Motorhome Specialist in Alvaredo, TX.... I will never patronize them again. As others, I have found few reputable dealers in my decade of coach ownership and if I can deal with NIRVC, I do.

NIRVC
I just ordered a 2024 cornerstone forum NIRVC and they are selling my 22 anthem. I have felt white them several times and had good responses. Also not many can or will beat their price. JD.

Hi John,
May I ask what percentage off of list price did they give you?
Thanks, Sammie

Probably will not be mentioned on a public forum. It may cause problems if another customer could not get the same discount.

Price
I will say I shopped the price and NIRVC’s first quote was the very best. I would not shop anywhere else. I don’t trust any coach dealer I have every dealt with but NIRVC.

I have a 2022 that I purchased during Covid and am still trying to get the many issues I've had with it corrected. Likely going to sell it and get a Newmar London Aire. Entegra really dropped the ball on the build quality relative to the 2020 Anthem I had prior to the cornerstone. I thought I was stepping up in class, and purchased a truly inferior product to my 2020. Look at Newmar
