Pictures on Vega touch
How many know, or care, that you can transfer pictures from your iPad or phone to the Vega touch screen. Better than looking at a blank screen.

I'd just be happy if mine would show me the correct tank levels!

Hi J.H.,
Being a sensitive, caring kind of guy, of course I care.
Is it possible to do so on an '18, or do I need to buy a new coach?
Thanks.
Take care,
Stu

Stu, I’m sure you can do it on an 18, but Entegra would be glad to sell you a new one.
Anyone who flys a triple seven has got to be a sensitive guy. Who do you fly for?
Never mind I see American colors. He’s retired now, but did you know a guy named Billy Young?

Now I am going to file that piece of information away for future reference. However, I dont think that I need Dee's or my smiling faces smiling back at me when I an trying to figure out when I need to dump the black tank......

Hi J.H.,
Nope, didn't know a Billy Young. Probably good that he's retired so that he doesn't have to endure the current pain in the airlines. It's gonna gut uglier before it gets pretty again.
Well, you deduced part of my history. However, you might recognize the vintage AA livery on my avatar. The B777 was the last aircraft that I flew for American Airlines prior to my retirement in 2011, just before their most recent bankruptcy.
Although Entegra would be happy to sell me a nice, new coach, my financial adviser is strongly suggesting that a preservation of cash is a better strategy than an extravagant purchase for the foreseeable future. Gotta pass on a a new Entegra.
So, how about a hint on getting photos to display on the VegaTouch?
Thanks.
Take care,
Stu

Put your iPad/ phone on the coach WiFi, go to vegatouch settings and select images, go to your pictures and select one. It will duplicate that picture on the vegatouch.
American unloaded a bunch of their MD11’s on Fedex who I worked for. We put them to good use though so guess it was good for both.

Thanks. We'll be back in the coach in a couple of weeks for a short trip to see grandkids. I'm sure that my DW would be happy to see their smiling faces on the VegaTouch display. I wonder if there's any way to do something similar with the Xite screen?
Take care,
Stu

I left out a step or two. After selecting images on vegatouch you have to go to nebula on iPad, select images from the settings on iPad select the dotted box and pictures will come up for you to select and wait for it to load to Vega touch. You can also delete any pictures off vegatouch you no longer want. Each picture has a trash can by it.
