Pilot- Flying J No longer part of TSD Logistics EFS program
The daily newsletter entitled RVTravel.com has announced in its current daily publication that Pilot/Flying J is no longer part of the RV section of the TSD Logistics EFS card program. As the editor of RVTravel explains it, he ran a feature article of how good the TSD Logistics EFS card program was and someone at GoodSams central office read the article and raised hel* about this to Pilot Flying J. It appears that GoodSams feels or states that it has an exclusive discount agreement with Pilot Flying J and PFJ is not permitted to discount RVs in any other way, and therefore PFJ has notified TSD that its stations are no longer covered by their program. That is my understanding from reading the article. \
All EFS owners need to be careful fueling at PFJ until this all gets cleared up.
Here is a link to the RVTravel website: www.RVTRAVEL.com. This issue is addressed on the current page and I am sure that you can look for it also with a search engine.

Thanks for the heads up. Apparently the mobile app hasn't been updated yet as it still shows a discounted price at the FJ in Primm NV, where I was planning to get fuel on Tuesday.

That is terrible and makes me wish I had not renewed my Good Sam membership. If it stays this way I will boycott anything to do with Good Sam.

From my experience, Loves Travel Stops gives a higher discount then the Pilot/Flying J...at least in the SC/GA/FL area.

For some time now I have thought Good Sam was kind of all for themselves.

According the the TDS posts on Facebook, the change takes place at the end of the week. So either last night or maybe tonight.
While I'm no friend of Good Sam's, I guess in this one case, I can see their point. If they got PFJ to agree to a contract, then they should live up to it.
Now hopefully, PFJ will lose enough RV business that they tell Bad Sam's to take a hike when the contract comes up for renewal. Cause I won't use a PFJ going forward, and I was one of those who used them for the last 8-9 years for the convenience factor. Prior to the TSD card.

PFJ telling Good Sam to take a hike probably will not happen. Not certain, but I'd wager they have more gasser RV customers using the good sam discount than they get get diesel RVs using the TSD fleet cards.

Because Entegra owners are the only ones who use it?

If Bad Sam cared about their customers (us), they could amend their agreement with PFJ to allow use of the TSD card. It is their decision to deny us use if the card, but our decision where we want to fuel. After 17 years of fueling there, PFJ is off my fueling list, and I will not renew with Bad Sam.

And this sort of thing is a surprise? Ever since Pilot bought Flying J they have been hosing the RV community with numerous "discount programs" that either didn't work, or were actually price increases in disguises. I can save $.50-.60 a gallon on PFJ diesel without even trying any day of the week. Add that to the Good Sam idiocy and all their continuous discounts that mean nothing except hot air, and these two companies were a made in heaven (he11) partnership bent on fleecing the RV community for every cent they could get. Just another fast talk scheme that was poorly conceived, incompetently administered, and was destined to never work right. You expected something different? Really?

You know how the good sam club pres is always advertising, if you're not happy I'm not happy ?
I think it's time for all good sam members to write this guy an email and tell him what you think.
Personally I can buy fuel elsewhere, I can not renew my good sam membership and move any other services I bought to other places. I think that if enough people send that type of message it might hit home.
