Procedure for summer (hot) storage and A.C.
I am lucky that I am able to store my 15 Anthem in my driveway when it is not in use. It is connected to 50 Amp service at all times, but I shut all regular stuff off while not using it (keep the chargers running, refer off, etc). Have MagneShade all the way around the nose, and have night shades down inside.
Question is that I don't have the AC units running or set to any temperature. Actual ambient temperatures are in upper 90s now with high humidity and direct sun temps higher. I am wondering what others do in the same situation. I can run the AC units at some higher temperature and simply run up bigger electricity bills, or leave them off. What is the consensus on what should be done? Opinions. Observations.

In that situation, I would set my thermostats to 88-90 degrees. I live in a dry climate, but I might think about a dehumidifier with the drain in the sink if I lived where it is humid.

We do use a dehumidifier that drains into the kitchen sink. You would be amazed at how much water drains into the grey tank. Keeps everything nice and dry!

Living in Florida with very high humidity, I would run one air conditioner set on 82 degrees or so. This will keep the moisture down and avoid mildew. Mildew, once it starts and spreads, can cause tens of thousands of dollars in damage (if it can be repaired at all). This makes the relatively modest cost of running an air conditioner seem like money well spent. Every month or so, turn off that air conditioner and turn on another one so you do not work one unit to the exclusion of the others.

Living in hot and humid AL I keep all 3 units on as well as using a humidifier. I set them to 80. Magneshade on front and side windows and night shades down. This has worked for me for years.

I agree that heat and/humidity is not good for the coach. We leave the back two ACs set on about 84 and leave the shades all down with the front AC off because the sensor for it is in the wall and it will run much more than necessary if it is left on. All JMHO

We see 105 here all the time, I've seen 120 inside the coach which is stored next to our house.
I don't run anything while stored here.
I keep the refrigerator doors open as well as most of the cabinet doors. All windows and roof vents are always open too.
I make sure there is water in both toilet bowls.
I've been doing that for 10 years and all is well.
I have full hookups with 50 amp service but, other than when company shows up and we move into it, I never run any electrical appliances while stored.

Gary,
I store in the same conditions here in FL. I have done this for years and it's very effective.
I purchased a 25-30 pint dehumidifier at Lowe's. I set it on the kitchen counter with a towel under it and and a short piece of garden hose for the drain going into the kitchen sink drain. I set the humidly at 45% and it keeps all the humidity and mold out of the MH. After 6 months of storage the holding tanks is less than 1/2 full.
I store on 20 amps, so with the 110V dehumidifier I don't have to worry about a power problem.
