Pull strap for 50amp plug
On my previous coach, I had a nylon strap that fit on the 50amp cord plug. There was a strap "loop" handle that made it much easier for my old arthritic fingers to pull that plug out of the site pedestal and/or out of my surge protector. That went with the coach when sold (my mistake) and now I cannot find one, even after searching various forums, Amazon, internet, Tampa RV show, etc. Does anyone know where I might find one of these and have a link to a a site where I can purchase one? I keep the prongs lubed, but it's still almost painful to get that plug out as I get older and this was a very good solution. Thanks in advance and safe travels all--

I don't see the strap like you want but I see a ton of them with handles.

I'll be following this post with great interest.
I, too, have been looking for something like this for the past year but haven't been able to locate anything, either.
The hunt continues.........

If you are looking for a way to remove the cord from the plug? You could use a plastic zip tie, just place the zip tie between the cord plug & the cord plug in, then connect the zip tie ends to each other, leaving enough room for you to get your fingers under them.

Great idea! Thanks for the tip.
I would think this would work well for "one time use" but I was hoping to find a multiple use solution.

I create my own pull strap with a length of rope. I attached a photo.
These pulls are very useful for disconnecting the extension cord. I can stand on the cord for one connector and pull up on the other.

Once again the forum members are on the job! The product link from Stu was exactly what I had used before, so I have one on order now. Thanks again to you all for your suggestions--

I used that strap on my prior coach. The 50 amp plug on my current coach has a convenient fold out tab:
making it easy to grasp.
Take care,
Stu

Might be easy if you do not have arthritis in your hands. For me it is painful to pull. I fixed that by looping a length of rope around that "T" handle. Griping the rope is much easier on my hands.

Haven’t needed something like this for the shore cord but have used these cheap exercise handles for other things. Maybe it would work.
