Question on X bracing

Would like to find a nice clean used 40'.
What was the first year Entegra produced their own RV with the X bracing?

Believe late 2008 or 2009. But they didn't make many the first 3.5 years...less than 300 I think. Production took off with 2013 model year. Think x bracing from the start (maybe a part of the Travel Supreme heritage, but someone else may be able to chime in on that.

Yep, braced and front halo from the very first. Travel Supreme actually had it pretty much figured out about the time they shut down. My 11 Anthem absolutely none of those problems.

All of the Entegra's have cross bracing. The early Travel Supreme did not and we popped windshields. However finding a clean used 40 foot Entegra might be hard as they just started making a 40 foot. A 42 foot, no problem and the tag axle is really worth the step up.

2009 was the first model year of the Entegra Coach. Entegra Coach has always done the X-bracing.

The Aspire at that time was 40' & 42' w/tag.
All were on Frieghtliner chassis with rear radiator.
ISL Cummins engines rated 400hp.

Also, for a brief time 2011-12 Entegra Coach came out with the Insignia model with a 360hp motor also on the Frieghtliner. They were 36' & 40'

Entegra Coach stopped the Insignia because of poor sales.
They then stopped producing the 40' Aspire in 2012 because it was pushing the "pay-load" weights at that time. In 2012 1/2 the Aspire switched to Spartan.

Since then the "bridge-laws" have changed in the Country, allowing for 24k rear ends to be installed. So, the 40' coach is back.

Hope this helps.
