Questions on Aspire from a potential buyer
We are seriously considering trading our 08 Tiffin Phaeton for a 15 or 16 Aspire. First I want to thank this forum for giving us the courage to consider leaving Tiffin and believe we will get good service from Entegra. Here are my questions -
I am surprised that the Aspire does not have a sleep number bed. We know that the Anthem has it, but we want an Aspire. Has anyone added one in their Aspire? Can it be done? How difficult is it?
How does Entegra handle service after the two years? Tiffin has spoiled us with providing continuing service after the warranty has expired and mostly for free or discounted cost.
Do you have any pro/con for 15 vs 16? Well beside the significant exterior changes!
Thank you in advance for any and all comments!

Our Aspire (a '13) had a sleep number. I believe that '15 and older have sleep number, and it was changed on all models for '16.

Entegra has been more than fair with service and warranty. I damaged a drawer due to stupidity on my part and they took care I of under my warranty. It was well beyond my expectations.

Yep they had select comfort until 2016. We had a 2014 Anthem with the sleep number and were a little concerned about the different mattress for 2016. However after having had the Temper pedic cloud for a few months we think it is much better than the sleep number and the bed is easier to make. All JMHO. Noel

It DEFINITELY is easier to make because you can pull it down to where you can reach the corners!😃

I think part of the reason for the change to Tempurpedic was due to problems with the mattresses developing leaks in high altitude if you didn't remember to deflate. We had a 13 Aspire and loved the sleep number bed. We find the Tempurpedic comfortable as well. We have the sleep number at home in our S&B so we enjoy both.

The 2016 Aspire no longer has the same mattress as the CS & Anthem. But it is is a very nice mattress.

All of the above is correct. The Tempurpedic is definitely the best mattress that we've found. By dropping the Sleep Number, you aren't missing anything.

The Aspire uses a Denver mattress in the 2016's.
We have a 15 Aspire and love the Sleep Number bed. As stated earlier , you must deflate before going into high altitudes

We have the Sleep number also, and love it. I've tried pretty much every type of mattress, including pure latex (which is really heavy) and like this bed the most, even more than the air bed I have in the S&B. Mattresses are an individual thing - your cloud of ecstasy might be someone else's nail bed.

If it really comes down to mattress choice, a good dealer will make the mattress you want appear in your coach.

I have both types of mattresses, and frankly it's a wash....I like both and they sleep equally well.
I Traded a 2011 Phaeton for my 2013 Entegra and haven't looked back. I loved working with Bob, but I've been treated better by Entegra Customer Service across the board on service outside of warranty. The only way I could get equal service was if Bob Tiffin, himself, interceded on my behalf. I shouldn't have to go to that well to make a coach right.
I liked the '15 interiors better than the '16's, but that's my taste.
JMHO, for what it's worth.
