This would have been so much easier if instead of gas the thermostat would have said Aquahot. This has so many people confused. I do understand it but I must admit I thought that with the Aquahot on electric all you would have is hot water. I did not realize at first that the heater outlets would work on just electric. Now I did find out that if it's very cold the electric side does not work very well. I leave my Aspire plugged into a 20 amp service and set the thermostat in all three zones at 50 with just the electric switch on. Now if the forecast is for under 28 degrees I flip the LP switch on also. With the slides in and the thermostats set at 50 it does not use much LP. We will find out how bad it can be. This morning it was 19 degrees. The high today is supposed to be 38 and 15 in the morning. I'm sure I will use some LP the next few days. I drained everything but the washer so that is the only reason I'm doing this. I should have done like Chuck and blown all the water out but our winters are not usually like this year.

Setting the thermostat alone will not get you heat UNLESS you are using heat pumps (electric setting on thermostat). When using the gas setting on thermostats, you must have at least one of the electric and the burner switches on except when driving as noted below. You can also have both switches on.

If you are driving in an Anthem or Cornerstone, the heat you need will be provided from the engine and you can set the thermostat to gas and the electric and burner switches can be off.

Blowing the water line may get all the water out of the line going into the washer but now you have water in the washer and on the drain side. Blowing air won't get this area. It is recommended to at-least pour antifreeze in the washer then hit drain OR suck antifreeze into the washer by pressing start for about 45 seconds, then turn to drain. That will ensure no frozen pipes.

You should with what you are doing with the temps you posted. Where I live in Upstate NY, its now 2 degrees and getting colder. The high tomorrow here will be 7 degrees.

Hoggie im moving it to A friends airplane hangar at reno stead airport, it don't get below 60 in there so. I think I will plug it into 25 amps il leave on the electric side of the aquahot t stats to gas and 50 degrees it has been 15 deg at night in my driveway 3 nights now I have it plugged into a 20 amp plug aquahot burner only everything on the breaker bar off except 2 inverters and main of course set at 65 no gfi trips 25 ft extension cord either a 1o gauge or 12 ga. not sure, it has a little led light on the female end so at night from upstairs I can peek and make sure its powered up got the 25 ft cord from home depot I will be moving it tomorrow I think I will then turn the 2nd inverter off too and run 1 at that point since it will prolly never even run besides maint charging. will that charge the batts and starting batts if I kill the main on the start batteries
