Rear AC blowing hot

Our rear AC just started blowing hot air. I just isolated it, allowed it to cool, and restarted, no luck. But it sounds like the compressor is not coming on. Any DIY suggestions? Of course, right at the beginning of a long weekend and with Texas finally warming up....

Been there done that. Pull the roof cover off and see if there is any oily residue. If so, the unit needs to be replace. Your 15 still has the old style thermostat. Remove the cover and pull the fuse for 20 minute to reset the system. Due the thermostat first. Good luck, know the feeling.

It could also be a start/run capacitor.

Are these the same Coleman Mach 8's that are on the newer coaches?
I've been through this on 2 of ours. Problem on both was a high pressure safety switch that is soldered to the high pressure tube coming out of the compressor.

I was able to jumper the switches out of the circuit in the silver box. Both a/c's are running great still 2 years later.

There are posts on this board detailing my fix. If you need em and know how to use em, I can send you the service manual for the Mach 8, and full schematics. You'll need your meter to troubleshoot the problem and prove exactly why the compressor isn't turning on before changing any wiring.
Note this is serious business. If you think it might be over your head let discretion rule and leave it be.

Thanks, all. Although I have a pretty good background in electrical, and DIY repair, now that I am 77 DW won't let me on the roof anymore. And, I have a full coverage warranty from NIRVC who is only 30 miles from me. So, assuming I can get in, I'll let their guys fix it.

I was sort of hoping there may have been an easy reset or similar to try but I guess its off to NIRVC we go.
