Rear Camera Monitor

Have been stopped in Louisville Ky for a few days and noticed the green (on) light is illuminated on the rear camera monitor without any picture on the screen and the on/off button will not turn the monitor off. Any suggestion will be appreciated as always. Thanks in advance.

I had that happen on my previous 2014. All I can say is kill all power and see if that helps. I never did figure out for sure what fixed mine, but I always thought killing all the power fixed it. Never happened again. Noel

Thanks for the reply Noel. How did you turn off the power to the unit?
Congratulations on the upcoming
2017 CS. We will be in Middlebury on the 9th for our PDI, 26 months after purchase. You have to love Entegra's customer service. Wife cants to look at a CS, but I want to see if the come out with the CS DEQ.

Peter, it's been a while and I can't remember if I pulled a fuse or exactly what I did, sorry. Noel

Probably the chassis 12 switch in the back by the DEF tank.

Use either one of the 12v power switches to kill the power. Worked on mine.

Thanks to you all. I will give it a try in the morning. This blog has certainly been helpful before my purchase and the two ownership years.

Had the same thing happen to my camera once. Killing the 12v power at either switch up front and this solved the problem. Has not happened since.

Resolved by switching the (red) Main Power off. Switching off the battery disconnect in the DEF day would not resolve the issue.

Thank You ALL

According to Spartan (up until the 2017 model year) the chassis battery switch only disconnects the ignition circuit so no one can start the engine when someone is working on it. In other words it disconnects very little.

Thanks for posting. Guess I had a senior moment, just couldn't remember where I had killed the power. Noel
