Rearview camera up/down adjustment

2013 Aspire. I believe this camera has the ability to be tilted up or down directly from the screen control using the up and down buttons. Mine does not move at all when pushing either of them. Any clues the reason behind it? Thanks!!!

Assuming you are not the original owner. The camera is not adjustable, unless it has been changed.

On my 14 the only adjustment was by loosening the camera mount on the back of the coach and adjusting the angle of view.

Adjusted my rearview camera from the back of the coach. When I bought new it was pointed toward the bike rack. Simple adjustment and now I have a view of the traffic behind me. Dont pull a toad. Am more interested in making sure I dont get rear ended by a truck than seeing the area of the hitch......

Rearview camera up/down adjustment

Up until 2014, I believe Entegra was using a voyager system on both the Aspire and Anthem. The up/down control was located on the monitor. Back then, they did running changes so if you had a late 2013, it might have the newer(2014) system, which was just junk and not adjustable. So if there are no controls directly on the monitor, it is the newer system and the rear camera is stationary with a single view of the hitch and rear view.

My 2013 did have the up/down buttons on the monitor, but after a couple of years it started working only intermittently. So I set it for a happy medium, and I have not moved it for years lest it get stuck in a bad position. I am actually quite happy with the fixed position that I selected.

I have it on my 2012 Aspire, and luckily it still works. It will not move while in Reverse, and sometimes i have to wait a minute or two (maybe it needs to warm up) before it works. But, luckily, it always seems to work.

Cheers!!

Well, I learned something new. I thought they did not have a remote adjustment.

Entegra has changed camera systems like most people change underwear. Our previous 2017 had a dome over the camera and you could move it up, down, sideways and anywhere in between. Now the 2020 has a fixed wide angle camera, but it does have three selections that change distance you can see.

The Cornerstone has always had the total vision camera until 2020. The early Anthems and Aspires had Voyager until 2014 then a Chinese setup supplied by Riverpark , then the total vision until 2020’s 360 system.
The OP should probably check with Voyager and see if there is a replacement for the camera

My 13 does have the up/down on the monitor. May be worth looking behind the dash to see if something has un-plugged. You can remove the dash area including the radio unit by removing the screws around the perimeter, and gently tilting the unit to see behind it, careful not to unplug something else. I have checked my radio and other wires a few times behind that panel.

Thanks... will try that avenue.

If memory serves me right, the switcher for the cameras is behind the dash, against the firewall and right of the steering wheel. You might check that also.
