Reatta XL vs Tiffin 38 RED
We recently sold our 2014 Tiffin RED 33AA. We loved everything about the coach except the way it handled in crosswinds. The drawback of a short wheelbase motorhome. We had almost decided to buy a Tiffin 38 RED but took a look at 2021 Reatta XL. We’ve seen them deeply discounted with options not on the RED. However, we know nothing about their handling or reliability. Also, if we had problems would we go to the Entegra factory or Jayco? Insights, thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Robert & Evelyn

Can't comment specifically on the Reatta vs. the RED. Reatta is on a Spartan Chassis, so that's a plus (IMO). I'm on my second Entegra and many here are on their third or fourth. I came back for the value (pricepoint), quality, and especially customer service. The second one has been even better than the first.
I would assume service would be at Entegra dealers or at the factory at the Entegra service area, which is on the Jayco campus, but their own service center and techs. I have heard the Entegra Class C's are being serviced by Jayco, but believe all the DP's are coming to Entegra.
Your point about crosswinds is well taken, and of course the longer the MH, the better it will work in the wind. The biggest advantage in a cross wind, though, goes to the tag axle coaches. Of course that's also a big step up.

We are seriously considering the Reatta XL 39BH. We previously owned a 2017 Newmar Ventana 3709, but decided that we wanted theater seats and a place for a grandkids to sleep without going over 40Ft. I would compare the Reatta XL to the Tiffin Phaeton and the Reatta to the Tiffin Red. Dual Pane windows, 6.9L engine etc. I spoke to an engineer at Entegra and was impressed from what he had to say. FYI, if you want a couch with a single axle that does great in crosswinds, you cant beat Newmar's comfort steer.

I recommend the Reatta XL. Better engineering, better customer service, better warranty, more features.
I’m in my 2nd. Entegra out of a 2011 Tiffin. I won’t go back!

The Reatta has the 6.9L Cummins, the Reatta XL is running the much larger 8.9L Cummins. Same as the Aspire and Anthem.
Torque is almost the same as the Aspire @1,200lbs.
The XL is a lot of value!
Good luck
