Receiver Height

I have an Anthem 44DLQ on order. Does anyone have the height of the hitch receiver with the coach aired up ready for travel? I know I will need a drop hitch to accomodate my tow bar height and would like to arrive at the dealership with the correct drop when I finally take delivery. Thanks in advance for any info.

I'll look forward to that answer as well. Any model on the Spartan Mountain Master chassis should have the same ride height.

21 1/2 inch to center on Aspire. I needed 4 inch drop for Buick Enclave which measured at 18 inch.

Brobox made a valid point, he usually does.. LOL.. The ride height should be the same on all Spartan Mountain Chassis. That said, the key will be your toad height as well. My 07 Ford explorer required a 6" drop hitch to be level. Roadmaster states you need to be within 3" plus/minus. go to website, www.e-trailer.com.. For all types of drop hitches.. Good prices& quick delivery.. Safe travels..dd

Needed a 4" drop on our Anthem for our 2013 Ford Explorer. Blue Ox says you should be within 2 inches of level pull.

Anthem's run bigger tires 295's vs 275's on the Aspire

Just ran a tape on the Anthem 26" to center

Hope this helps

I learn something everyday on this site. Interesting post, Doogiedaddy. I wouldn't have thought a difference of variance between manufacture of bars. Shows you what I know!! What year is your Explorer? dd

The toad's mount does make a difference. My Jeep Liberty towed level with no drop hitch. The Tacoma PU needed a 4 inch drop to be level. That surprised me.

Just to add the specs to my earlier post. 295's rear and 315's on IFS front.

The 2" variance was a vocal from the tech at the dealership. Now that I have looked it up the Blue Ox variance is 3". Sorry for the misinformation.

Thanks everyone. Looks like I will need about an 8 inch drop for my Mecury Mariner. Height of the towbar hookups on the Merc is 17 1/2 inches. With Blue Ox tolerances, 6 inch drop could also work.
