Recent vega update v1.5.13
Just preformed the recent vega update to 1.5.13
Says to upload updates for bathroom and stool switches. Did that, then screen says to "power cycle" coach to finish update. Did that, at least I think I did. Vega is now sounding alarm that bath and stool switches need updates downloaded. Download the updates, follow directs to power cycle coach, (shut off power at post, turned off power switches to chassis, shut off salesmanship switch at entry door) wait 3 minutes, power up coach.
Still get alarms for update upload for switches....
I have emails to Firefly and Entegra for help, but they are closed 'till tomorrow.
Anyone have any ideas as what to try next, or recheck? Or how to turn off alarms (beeping from Vega).?

I see the same software update is available for me. I will wait until I get home this weekend to try the update.
To silence the alarms on vegatouch go to settings, then display tab, then you can mute vegatouch alarms.

I did the update and had the same issue. I kept downloading the switch updates and shut off the salesman switch and waited a few minutes then had the same message to download the updates. So, after several tries, I did one download at a time. When the
individual switch download was completed (solid green line), without exiting that screen, I turned the salesman switch off and waited to reboot the system. Each time I did this, one of the switch update files was completed. After doing this 3 times for each switch file update, the system download message was satisfied with no alarms on the main screen after the reboot. I also noticed that some of the charging parameters which I had reset (because I have Lifeline batteries) reverted back to the parameters that the V1.5.13 software had set. This didn't happen after each re-boot but I will be checking it daily to make sure that my settings remain the same.

Seems like updates are coming very close together now. It wasn't that long ago the .11 was out then.12 and now.13. Wonder what the reasons are? All of my switches are working fine.

Hi - Never received the notice for .13 but last night it downloaded .15 (I think it was .15 but that begs the question as to where is .14) Anyway, don't do it. My page for heat/AC/floor is a mess. The formatting is terrible as buttons are on top of each other and the page has to be scrolled to get to some. Terrible code. Luckily we are at Entegra now so perhaps they can fix it. Another hit from Firefly!

Maxxaire fans have come out with a new “black” circuit board to replace the red boards due to lift problems with the lids. Firefly is supposedly working on a fix that will cure the update available message on the vegatouch.
Meanwhile, at least with the new boards, you will have the message and you won’t be able to operate the fans from the wall switch in the bathroom. The fans will operate from the vegatouch, but not from wall switch if you have the new black circuit board.
The fan portion of the wall switch stays blue when the fan is off indicating it is still on and you have no control over the fan. Lid function will work from wall switch, but not the fan.
I don’t know for sure when the black circuit boards came into being, but that’s what maxxaire sent me to fix lid lift problem. That fixed the lift problem, but they aren’t compatible with the vega touch yet.
Stand by for the rest of the story, when firefly gets to it. I suggest everyone call firefly and maybe they’ll get it in gear. They’ve told me for two months they’re working on a fix, but no cigar yet!

You can fix that by going to user, system, system again, then scroll to hvac check it then save and reset will fix that problem.

This is what is so frustrating. Those that do not need an update get it anyhow with other systems that were working fine going haywire and no longer working. The battery charging issue was one that was major....why! Firefly still can't or won't explain it.
I have always been a fan of keep updates current especially after I locked my 19 up skipping too many updates. But after the battery charging ordeal, I am ready to take the Ted Cook approach..."if it ain't broke don't fix it". I have not updated since .10 and the battery charging issue fix. If my VT locks up, I'll call FireFly, in mean time enjoy a working system.

CONFIRMED - Vega Touch v1.5.13 update jacks up the client screen. THANK GOODNESS, I have the app to control the temperature. Sending the FLIES an image.
TO SILENCE ALARMS. See the little "hamburger stack" in the message screen (right below the title). Press that and you can UNSELECT the alarms. (This drove me nuts the 1st night in the coach).
