Johnny

Are you asking for recommendations for sewer vent caps? I'm not following your question. If that is your question, I installed these on my Aspire and plan on doing the same on my new Anthem.

Why did you install them, we're the ones that came from the factory not doing the job, or just a personal preference ?

We tried a lot of different recommendations (running the washing machine, making sure there were no other dry drains, checked to make sure we had the updated vents under the sink, etc.) nothing seemed to work. At the end of last camping season, on our last trip, we installed the Camco 40595 Cyclone Sewer Plumbing Vents and NO smell all the way home!

I'll keep you posted as to how they work this camping season.

I just converted from the Camco style with the whirling wind vanes to the 360 product linked above. I know, don't fix something that ain't broke.

The Camcos did just fine but were quite FUGLY! I've had the 360s on for about 2 weeks and don't see any difference.

Just for reference (not to drive this into THAT debate) we don't use any chemicals and don't get any odor 99% of the time. The only time we have gotten sewer odors has been in moderate temps with a very light breeze and the fantastic fans running. If that breeze is from the right direction I think it pushes the odor over the top of the roof where it then drops down along the side and into an open window.

Fasteddie08 - We had the factory sewer caps on a previous MH and had odor backup some times. Replaced those with the twirly type that 360 products use to make (replaced with the current non-moving disk) and solved that problem. The 360 video does a pretty good job explaining how it works and why stock vent caps might not be effective all the time. Made sense for me based on my experience.

X2 on hogdrivers recommendation of the 360 vents. They made a big difference to our issue with occasional whiff of "Black Diamond" cologne :-)

JMO and previous experience. On our last MH we only used tank chemicals when the temps were warm. I did use the soap method or Pinesol ($ store brand worked fine) after dumping the black tank and would travel with soap and fresh water in the tank for the day when the temps were warm. Keeping the tank clean also helps the tank sensor be more accurate. Never had a black tank odor, but all MH's vent different. The vent stacks on my TS sat much higher on the roof than others I have seen and I am sure that helped. If the Anthem does get tank odors, I will install a set of 360's. I like the looks of them better then the Camco "rooster heads".

I think I like these better- there are no moving parts. Has anyone tried them?
