Refrigerator/ Freezer door problem

I have a 2014 Anthem and think I have a Big design flaw.
My freezer door will not open far enough to get the Ice tray out without hitting the trim on the slideout. You can't get the Ice out of the bin.
Does anyone have a solution?
I thought maybe the refrigerator could be moved out about 2" to clear the trim but don't know if that is possible.

Are you 100% positive the coach is level? If my coach isn't level I have difficulty unlocking and opening the doors. Just a thought...

On our DEQ the fit is very tight but I can just barely remove the ice tray. Have to put good pressure on the freezer door to accomplish. I'm definitely pushing hard against the trim.

Join us at a TX Boomer rally.

Our problem was with the trim at the bottom. MHSRV pulled the fridge out a little and it is much better. The fridge bracket is screwed into the floor at the bottom and I to trim at the top. It can be moved out a little and screwed in new holes. I have also considered trimming off the protruding corner of the bottom trim.

On this site, just look under forums (next to home button), then south-central, and finally Texas Boomers. You'll find a link there for info on all the 2014 rallies. We rally about 10 times a year. One coming up soon will be at Miller Creek RV Resort at the junction of 281 and 290 just south of Johnson City.

Welcome Jim. Glad to see you here asking questions and hope you will stop by more often. I learned something new about one of the floor plans with your question, something I never would have thought of.
