Remote battery

Tried to change my fob battery today. Took off the back but can't figure out to remove the battery. It appears that it should just slide out but there is a ridge blocking it. Suggestions?

If you know who made the remote, you can probably find the information you need on the company's website.

Unfortunately you haven't got any help here yet. I'd try asking going to the source. It looks like you should be able to find help there.

push the remote out of the plastic the battery then will push out very easy it takes a 2032 don't buy a Chinese battery they will leak get a renata swiss battery if you can. then push the guts back in the plastic. screw does not need to be very tight at all. the bar that hold to the key ring just lays in the grooves insert before snapping back together and inserting the screw

Thanks. Did not know to push "guts" out the fob. Didn't want to break any more stuff this trip. Once I followed your advice-easy-peasy.
