chuck I put 2 in my front turn signals they are 1156 also
I have a slew of 1156's I took out of my last MH, and with the security light change, I'll have plenty of spare turn signal bulbs. It would be nice to be able to use them up.

I prolly should have just bought the 1 pack at camping world for 75 bucks I mean honestly 75 bucks who is that rocket scientist to buy those I never cease to be amazed
Those you bought are really decent bulbs I got the 1.50 ones by luck for those security lights out side like you found the number 4. thx I rarely use them most of the time its by accident bumping them.
They look like a good deal, although I personally prefer warm white bulbs. Chuck, please let us know if they meet your expectations.
Marc, I just tied the super white bulbs and did not care for them The standard bulbs put out more light. I was surprised as bright as the strip I put in the center of the basement is and they are the same brightness, 6,000-6,500k

Thanks for the feedback. I had the same problem when I replaced the security lights with LEDs. Too dim even though they are the brighter model with 26 LEDs in it. The problem with the currently available LEDs is that there appears to be no way to reliably compare brightness without actually procuring the bulb.

Just posted this somewhere else but do not buy anything that says VOLTAGE: DC 12V ONLY. Your rig operates on battery and charging voltage. Many DC 12V ONLY bulbs can not handle the charging voltages which may be 14+ volts and their lifespan will be greatly reduced.
Make sure any LEDs you buy will cover a wider voltage range. Many now are rated for 8 to 30 volts DC.

Had my cracking and fading and peeling "W" decals on the side of my MH refreshed (I think they did it by hand!). These are 'Before' and 'After' shots. \ken

I am finding that out about the bulb comparison. At least the strip lights are super bright. Next time I will buy smaller quantities and check how bright the LED's are. At least I have a lot of spare basement bulbs,
Of all the LED's I have purchased, these were a surprise.
