I am receiving containers this month on our product that was ordered in December and January. Problem is not in producing our product, but getting on the ship, then off the ship, then locating the container in the port, then getting on a train if coming through LA, then on a chassis, then finding a truck company to bring it, just to mention a few.
Oh, and if you don't get it out of the port in 3 days, you get fined $150 a day because it is your responsibility to get it out of the port. Sorry, usually don't rant about these issues - they are out of control. (not surprised though)
Sounds like the Retroband flow of product will begin soon, and I understand the planning and $$ to put that in motion. At least the cost of container freight came down some in May.
