Rumors???
Anyone hear anything about Jayco/Entegra selling out to Thor?
I don't mean to start anything here, but I have heard a whisper or two. Anyone else?

I heard that Thor is going to buy Entegra and Newmar, and release a new model called the Newtegra Kingstone.

PS: Back in 2008 when I shared a rumor about Forest River buying Coachmen I was laughed at. Check out the link, look at the dates and how the Moderator locked the thread.

I certainly hope not as Thor is one of the worst companys out there when it comes to service.....

not to belittle the above, but at that time the recession was in full swing and we saw stuff and everyone was in a panic.Coachmen was rescued by Forest River (Berk Hath) and that was their escape hatch....but Jayco/Entegra has no reason to be on the block nor does Thor.. while anything is for sale at the right price...I find it hard to believe a family held company like Jayco doing gangbusters with all divisions, would let Thor swallow them.

I hope you're right, I have a friend in the RV supply world that has heard the talk. By no means a done deal, but my thoughts were much like yours, WHY??

Without accredited documentation, it is just internet BS like 80% of my emails that are deleted daily.

Isn't Jayco without debt? And if so why in the world would anyone do a merger like that?

Exactly!
This would be one of the most unlikely and impossible mergers ever.
Rumors are generally something I ignore unless they are accredited.
But then they aren't rumors. They are press releases.

Sometimes if a company is debt free they are ripe for ruthless companies to pounce on but there are so many Bontragers involved with Jayco and their subs in Indiana and Michigan I cannot imagine Jayco selling the cash cow.
