RV "not at ride height" warning & cost

I recently bought my new (to me) 2018 Anthem 44F. While returning to my home (central FL to Northern VA) my ride height warning came on. A stop at two RV repair shops with the owners giving me the sign of the cross, we toughed it out for the ride home. While home I found that the only or actually best place to seek repair is at a Spartan RV facility. After a week in the shop I was informed the "system" was faulty and needed replacement.. Cost? $3,700 for parts and labor. The shop owners and front desk were awesome and helped the cost of the bill to sink in a little easier. This is the third Class "A" and 2nd DP .... the more expensive the RV the more it costs to repair. Even with 8 new tires and the expensive ride height system replacement ... I still love my Anthem.

Extended warrantee or not?

Did you have an opportunity to get an extended warrantee / service contract? This one repair would have covered a significant portion of the cost of that policy.

Sorry your new to you coach has had a ride height problem.
Good you found a place to get you squared away.

Could you tell the coach was actually not at ride height?

I have had a couple of ride height adjustments done at Spartan. A couple hundred bucks in labor but that was just to get my height just right. Overall I don’t know much about the system.

I have been around DP for over 20years and have never heard of a complete ride height failure. For education, can you explain what that was. I have had a few ride height valves go bad, split and leaking, but have never heard of a complete system failure.
