Warriors Path state park - closest to town, smaller sites, but doable for 35' or less units - no sewer at sites, 50a with water and shade.

I'm also interested in big rig camping in this area. We are going to the Battle of Bristol football game in Sept and waited too late to get a spot at the track.

While traveling from Virginia to Colorado, we usually stop at this KOA in Bristol.
Blountville, Tennessee Campground | Bristol / Kingsport KOA

Love that area. Good Luck.

Following up on my own question. We have booked a spot at the Shadrack RV Park just outside Bristol. It appears to have only 40 foot spots but I spoke to the lady and she can accommodate several coaches that are above 40 foot. There is full service 50 amp Water and Sewer. I took a look at it on Google Earth and it will do for us for a week as we take care of some business in the area. Thanks for any and all help

Hi Jim, Natalie,

Thanks for the tip on Shadrack. My wife and I will be traveling back through Bristol in September, so we'll look them up as well. After your stay, let us know if you'd recommend them.

Cheers!
Rusty
