And driving one while it must be considered of course, can be the least of your concerns. I knew nothing of the systems, I knew nothing about 30 Amp, 50 Amp, I didn't know anything, what's worse is I didn't know I knew nothing. My thoughts were I can drive anything on wheels, and I'll learn the rest, how hard can it be? So that's what I did, of course there is the flip side to that too, things being wrong before I ever rented the coach, the owner says it didn't go out that way, you must have done it, the agent maybe didn't inspect it when it came in because they want to turn it around because if it's not making $, they are not making money? I wouldn't do it, I'm sure there are those who have had success at it, but I wouldn't have wanted to rent one to me 5 years ago knowing what I know now. And I would further say not because I'm a bad guy or irresponsible or deciteful, I just didn't know enough about them.

I think they made a movie about that....RV with Robin Williams.

All
Thank you very much for the responses! This is exactly why I love this forum and the great responses really help with decisions. I am now leaning towards not renting but I like the response where they rented the MH but only by driving it, setting it up, and driving it back. The Dallas location I was considering mostly did that for the Dallas events such as NASCAR or Dallas Cowboys. So you have given me much to think about.
A HUGE thank you to all! We love the coach and cannot imagine someone else driving or let alone sleeping in it.

For those events why not advertise drive and tailgate. You carry up to say 8 people to game, charge them an arm and leg for drinks and BBQ. Watch the pre-game outside, let them go to game and you take a nap (I'm a Cowboys fan, but going to the game and taking a nap are about the same productivity wise), the shuttle the drunks home after feeding them and drunkening them up. Charge say $300-500 a piece, cash, and do't tell the IRS. They provide the parking pass.

Dave great idea. Again love its forum. It has made me laugh, fix some issues, improve the coach, and meet great people.
Thanks
Jeff

Nope, not me...you have to do something to receive payment from someone. I am working real hard at doing nothing worthwhile, unless someone starts paying people other then pro athletes for doing nothing other than playing.

Oh this post is just going to take a turn for the worst.. LOL
I put my Pig and Cat on the payroll and they are fully deductible. the pig's image was used in a logo and is branded as a mascot, the cat is the same, her face is on coffee cups all over, she even makes special appearances. Talk about sitting around and doing nothing.. My pets get paid to do nothing..
