Thanks for the info. I will probably order. I find it strange some folks have had neighbors complain about their AC units considering some of the strange and noisy things I have seen compared to that in campgrounds. Some people enjoy complaining....get a life!

Suppose they could be the same? We also have a lot of noise!

Give RVP a call, the support tech that answered the phone when I called knew immediately what I was talking about. If you have a low profile unit its a pretty good bet it takes the same fan. I've heard these units running on newer Winnie's and Tiffin's in assorted campgrounds we've been at.

I find this intriging. My coach is a late 2013, and although I have found the AC's to be somewahat noisy, it was never that noticable to consider it a problem. If fact, I run the units in an enclosed garage and didn't think they were "too noisy" even inside where obviously the sounds are contained and can bounce all around. Nice that there is a fix, but I am trying to figure out if I have a problem that needs fixing.

I am going to do the same thing tomorrow Marc. I am going up to the hanger while no one is there tomorrow and see if the late 14's are are noise as well. We have not had a change to take our Anthem out, so the inside test will have to do for now.

Why did I have a feeling they did not change the fan blades in the newer models?

I have also noted the really loud fans on my '13.

I tested mine inside of the hanger today, ran all 3 A/C and they were very loud. Shut the A/C's off and the generator was barley noticeable.

I ordered the new fan blades this morning. I talked to Mike at RVP and he told me the new fan was designed for a 10 in. low profile a/c unit. They will work on our units, but as of now they are not putting them on. According to him they are somewhat quieter and move slightly more air through the condenser.
Guess I'll find out if they are noticeably quieter when I get them installed. Noel

Noel, please let us know your results, including whether you see any difference in cooling.

I was on hold this morning waiting to order the new fans. Then I thought maybe I wait and see if they make much of a difference. I know a few of you have ordered them so I am anxious to hear how they work.

Ok, here's the skinny on the new fan blades for the Coleman a/c units. I received them around noon Pacific time. By the time I got all my stuff together, got the ladder out etc. it probably took an hour to hour and a half. Everything is pretty straight forward and they have you install what they call a hat which was not there before. I'm not sure of it's purpose except to give the shroud some extra support. It just sticks on with adhesive tape so no big deal.
Now to the real test. I would say the new type fans are at least 50% quieter, my wife thinks more, than the originals. They have a slight whine instead of the loud high pitch fan and air noise.
I am extremely happy with the results. They are $54 and RVP pays the shipping.
If you decide to get them I don't think you'll be disappointed.
I can't remember who originally posted this, but thanks for the info. Noel
