Ryobi 600 psi Cordless Pressure Washer for MH use
The Ryobi cordless pressure washer is a keeper for the evening bug wash on our MH's It does everything the video says it does. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ON...921209#overlay
I tested the pressure washer on my Chevy Colorado toad. Two days of baked on, FL sun, bird droppings was a great test for bugs on a MH simulation. The Ryobi took them off with ease along with cleaning the brake dust off of the wheels. The 2 liter soda bottle filled with RO water was enough to rinse my entire truck with almost spot free rinse. Distilled water would probably work even better. More than enough to do the windshield and front of the MH, all with a quick disconnect from the hose attachment, nice feature.
The recommended temp for the water to the PW is no more that 110 degrees, which is warm enough to do a nice job. I will still use hot water from the outside shower and my Zero hose to hot water soak bugs first, then the Ryobi to do what I use to to the micro fiber cloth and elbow grease.
Comes in a nice RV ready carrying case with all of the attachments need by purchasing the complete kit. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ON...921209#overlay

Good tip and thanks for sharing. I'm usually lazy when I get to the campground (or I'm looking forward to happy hour) but this would make a front cap wash quick & easy. I also like to 2 liter bottle option for CG's that have an "attitude" about hosing down even the front of the coach after a day on the road--

That's something I didn't think about is the GC that have an attitude when you pull a hose out. I even had a manager ask me to leave until I showed him the hose was hooked to my water tank. He then asked me to stop or everyone will be washing there coaches. I had to finish with a bucket.

Yea, washing coaches with a hose, even with "water that you brought with you" can be a big deal and as Chuck describes, you can get into a real argument with the park owner or another patron over supposedly violating the rules.
Because of that, I wash the front with a bucket of hot water and lots of soaking and more soaking and then brushing with a mesh covered squeegee. I have never had an argument with an RV park group over using my bucket of water.
Now, if I could use the same bucket of water and this Ryobi pressure washer also, then I think you are gaining on the system.... greater clean, same bucket of water.... I believe that will shut up the complainers and is easily defended. Unless you are very strange, all of us travel with a lot more than a bucket of water in our tanks, ands I have yet to find an RV park with a water meter that counts my gallons....

I still keep my Walmart Hyper Tough 320 PSi unit in my motorhome. Still works after all these yrs. Even the battery still works after sitting out in -10f weather in winter.
I use it to wash off my slides and windows at campgrounds. Many times for the bugs with Superior Products Dark Fury mixed 1:5. Bugs fall off.
I think I paid $30 on closeout in 2019
That Royobi looks good, I have 4 batteries for other items. So I might get that down the road

Gee, if a park complained to me about scrubbing/washing my windshield and front of the coach, I would leave.
Washing with a bucket and nylon scrubby is my current go to but the Ryobi probably uses less water.
I heard that CR (Consumer Reports) is considering a name change to Chuck Reports….

Ah campground water police, the aluminum wheels on a lot of the rv's say wash with mild soap and water only, so I use my ryobi pressure washer with liter bottle of water and soapy sponge and rinse with ryobi.

Gary, I was surprised how far the 2 liter soda bottle went. Might not even need the bucket any more. Already have plans to have another 2 liter bottle with soapy solution for the bugs before rinsing with distilled water.
If a park manger complains, it's 7-up in the bottle.

I bought one of these today at Home Depot. The 40v version was on sale for $199, marked down from $219. Plus, I got the 10% Vet discount, so I feel pretty good about it. It did not come with the carrying case, but the box it came in is fine until I get a duffle bag or something for when I stow it on board. We head out next Monday for 6 months on the road so I'm sure I'll be getting a lot of good use out of it. Thanks again for telling us about this unit! Safe travels all--

Another great use today. Still doing hurricane repairs.....I was cutting ceiling tiles (almost as messy as drywall) on the tailgate of my pickup today. Got home, grabbed the Ryobi with the soda bottle already full on the workbench. Within seconds the tailgate was clean with nothing to put away.
I saw another great tip on YouTube. Spay your shower down with vinegar/water solution, take the Ryobi with the sode bottle and pressure wash soap scum away. No scrubbing. I can see lots of uses for this new tool, I am liking it. I hope others find it useful.

For those interested, Ryobi has a great promotion going on at Home Depot. Buy one battery, get the second one free, plus another charger ALSO a free additional tool, nice selection to choose from. I chose the 7.5 inch fan, normally $59. for working under and in the basement of the MH. Used it in the garage today, works great. Large selection at Home Depot

As an aside, I bought the inexpensive Harbor Freight Portland Pressure washer (electric) about a year ago to go into my basement and to be used for loosening/removing bug splatter on the front of my coach, before deciding that although it was much smaller than my gas powered Ryobi pressure washer, it still was going to take up more room than I wanted to allocate to it so it has sat in the box in the garage. In the meantime, I had decided to buy the Ryobi battery-operated pressure washer that Brobox has been extoling its virtues here on this reflector (he convinced me that it was a good purchase).
So anyhow, I have been remiss on my prompt removal of bug splatter accumulated on the return trip from Arizona to M D Anderson in Houston, and then home to Shreveport, and I had to decide between this little Harbor Freight electric unit or the big gas powered Ryobi. Decided the Portland was easier, and I gotta tell you, I was really impressed with this little Portland/Harbor Freight unit. It works really well (more in a bit). After working on the front of the Cornerstone, I had been avoiding working on some mold and mildew around my hot tub beside my pool and since everything was connected up, I decided, what the hell.... lets give the Portland pressure washer a try on that stuff, and I wanna tell you, that little sprayer did a heck of a job cleaning up my rock surrounding the hot tub. Wow. Cost only $90 (regular price) and I bought it on sale for about $70. Its worth every penny and will now become my GO TO pressure washer here at the house for messes produced by long periods outside. (Now, I still purchased the battery operated Ryobi pressure washer that Chuck has been describing). That battery operated pressure washer IS a size that will fit in my basement (along with all my tools, which I rarely need but am blessed to have available). Looking forward to putting that new Ryobi through its paces.....

Gary, I had the same Harbor Freight unit in my basement, but replaced it with the Ryobi 110v for the MH as it took up so little room. I kept the adjustable end of the Harbot Freight unit as it does in nice fine mist for the DI rinse. I liked it so much, I bought one for the house. https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-18...623149#overlay
Every now and then, Home Depot has the Gray unit of sale for $79. but I think its a holiday promo unit. Works just as good as the $99. I see the new unit are 1800 PSI, mine are only 1600

That Ruobi looks like an Interesting unit. Could be useful especially since I assume the battery is interchangeable with their other hardware.
I carry an Amazon special that is packed in a small briefcase type and surprisingly has performed well. Was not expecting much from it but it has been x consistent on every ise.
