Safehaul adapter for Airforce One

The air connector for the Safehaul system on current Entegras looks different than my current air line. Is there an adapter to go from the Safehaul connector to an Airforce One air line?

I believe you may have to go to Home Depot or Lowes and get one. Thats how they did mine.

On my 2019 Aspire 44B the installer cut into the airline behind the factory safehaul connection and installed a tee and connected the airforce female off of it.

Find an installer in your area and call them. Should not be difficult to convert.

I removed the connector (snip) on my 2019 Cornerstone and installed the connector that matches with my AFO. At the same time, I moved the compatible connector to be further away from all the lines, cables, and etc. associated with my hitch. I moved the connector away and further up in the hitch area. This makes the air line easier to connect and disconnect. Since I think that the AFO and the Spartan systems are all actually now made by the AFO company (which was bought by someone else, but not Spartan), you would think that someone could figure out having the same connector on the coach and the air line.

The AF1 line is 1/4” and the coach is 3/8” as I recall. Change the fitting on AF1 line to 3/8” because that fitting is much easier to attach to the coach than the 1/4”. NIRVC did it for us in 5 minutes at our PDI. I assume it the same style quick connect fitting as the rest of the coach, which is automotive as I recall. (I used to be able to recall these minor but important details a lot better a few years ago!)

Cool

I had this very problem on a 2020 Anthem... I looked all over the place for adapters to fit the SafeHaul and adapt to the Air Force hose. I had no luck at any auto parts store, big box store....anywhere, until I found a Fastenal location...they have adapters for everything.

It's been a while, but I believe the Air Force One connector is 1/4" and the SafeHaul receptor is 3/8"... If you go to Fastenal, you can get a 1/4" to 3/8" adapter thread for your hose and then the 3/8" nipple to fit into the Safehaul fitting.

It's an easy fix, once you have the right adapters...

Update: Murry135's phone is exactly like mine....

Safehaul adapter for Airforce One

As Gary suggested. Replacing the SafeHaul connector with the connector in link below allows use of existing AF1 umbilical cord.
