My replacement Samsung microwave is also starting to act up by turning the fan and light on by itself while we were away for the night. Next it will start cooking the metal racks by itself. Can't trust this piece of crap anymore.

I turned off the breaker on mine until I get it replaced. I'll know about it tomorrow.

Still no issue with our Samsung Micro, after a lot of use this past year, but I guess it still has time to screw up. It cooks well at the moment.

Have you used the confection oven? That is the part that would not work on ours....the microwave part worked fine. Microwave meatloaf taste like rubber, Whirlpool confection oven....just like at home.
Our Samsung would not bake anything successfully, the Whirlpool does.

Yup, Chuck it works as well as the GE at home baked cookies and cakes not bad at all. But I am waiting for the other shoe to drop.

The Samsung convection microwave that Entegra will be sending me is MC17J8000CS
Looks like a decent unit. I was ok with our Samsung until it started having a mind of it's own (Kinda like Hal on 2001 a Space Odessy)
I really appreciate Entegra doing this as our motorhome is out of warranty. Joyce and the entire Entegra group do go the extra mile

I would never by a Samsung after going through three if them on Entegra's nickel. Finally purchased the GE Profile Advantium 1.7 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Over-the-Range Microwave - Convection PSA9120SFSS. Again on Entegra's nickel.
Fantastic Unit.

You have one of the newer ones and probably a better unit. Many of the Samsungs in the Classics had a hard time in in the confection mode, at least the two I had did.

We had all the same issues with our Samsung oven... light coming on, fan coming on all while traveling or parked. Entegra sent us a new Whirlpool replacement and it works just fine. No issues and now I see why Entegra is no longer using Samsung oven products.
