We have a one month old Anthem 42RBQ. Love the coach, but we are having a very annoying problem with the microwave. The touchpad seems to have a mind of its own. Fan turns on and off with no one anywhere near. Sometimes the touchpad responds to touch, other times it seems to be totally locked up. Anyone know of an easy fix? I have power cycled at the breaker with no improvement.

Replace it with a g.e. Advantium. The Samsung convection ovens have been a big problem. Noel

Dennis, call CS several of us had the microwave replaced under warranty before we gave up and purchased a better GE model.

We had the same issues with the original Samsung. Called CS and they shipped a new model Samsung within days of calling them. My son and I replaced it in about and hour, direct fit, no modifications. Has worked great now for almost a year.

We had same problem on our purchased new 2014 Anthem about 2 years ago. I called Samsung customer service. They talked me through a complete reset of the system and we haven't had a problem with the unit since.

Call Entegra CS and they will arrange for a Samsung tech to come to you and he will replace the entire touch panel . We had the same issue with our 16 Anthem and the repair fixed the demons !

What is probably happening is that one of the switches is not popping out fully an still making partial contact.
These switches are made of small metal discs in the shape of a dome.
You should feel a "click" each time you push one.

It is possible to fix these, but not something you should try to do.
But to confirm, try pushing each switch slowly to confirm it works properly.
One of them will feel different when you push it (won't feel the click).
If one switch is stuck, the units cant' tell if another switch is pushed.

This will be a warranty repair , or a new front panel if out of warranty.

I have a 2015 42RBQ with the same touch pad issues. I'll try calling Samsung first and then CS.

Dennis, call Entegra CS, they will get your problem squared away fast. You or no one else should have to bare the cost of buying a different brand micro when your coach is only one month old! We have had our unit for over a year and haven't had any problems with our microwave. Good Luck! Al

Called Entegra CS and spoke to Mike. He was very helpful and is arranging for Samsung to come to us for repair. Good thing too....as I sit here typing this, the Micro is beeping and light is turning on, dim and off. Guess I better kill the breaker for now.
