Thanks for the help. I just ordered the hose and sleeve from Amazon. My current hose works fine but I tend to leave it out when in a campground. DW is a water user so I dump at least every other day.
I wan’t to be ready to replace the hose as needed. It is the original hose. Hopefully when the current hose does fail it will be a small gray water leak.
I have a backup 3 inch hose but have never used it.

A plastic Sanicon hose was standard on early Sanicon system coaches. However, those hoses had a really frequent and "nasty" and common failure at the beginning to abrade very quickly and then rupture or develop holes very quickly. I know that you have ordered one already, but I would personally never buy or use the hose without the outer nylon protective covering. I have a good friend and another acquaintance that got themselves sprayed and covered (and their basement soiled) with black tank spray from holes/fractures in their unprotected Sanicon hoses.... the problems with leaks was the primary reason that Entegra moved to the more expensive hose woth the nylon sheath covering.
Good luck (but I would not take the chance!!!)

It will be interesting to see how that works out.

Shouldn't be a problem. Sani-Con has been around for years using that hose. It was Entegra after the failures with their earlier connections that came up with the sleeved, longer hose. I can't see any difference adding a sleeve, or taking the one off the old hose and putting it on a replacement hose. I would be surprised if under the Entegra sleeved hose it's not the same hose, just longer in length.

I was thinking about just using the old sleeve if I have to change out my hose. I went ahead and got a new sleeve as well because it was inexpensive.
Hopeful I will have no problems with my current hose. If I do I will try the new one. If that turns into a mess I guess I will order a new one from Entegra.
Maybe now that I have a replacement hose my original will last until I get the courage to get a newer coach.

Can that nylon sleeve be threaded over the potted end pieces or just over the hose? If you have to remove the end piece to get the nylon sleeve on, I think that could be a real problem!

You can reuse the sleeve, it is just zip tied on. You don’t mess with the end pieces. The cover that they use is incredibly durable. It’s even flame resistant. The problem is the size tolerance between the 2. Impossible to just scrunch on. In order to install mine, I slid a thin rope through the sleeve and tied one end to a column on the house(any stationary object) and tied the other end to the hose end. I then had DW pull on the end of the pipe to stretch it out. Then I could slide the sleeve up the pipe, it was pretty easy once I figured out how to do it.
