Sanicon turbo retrofit /disconnecting holding tanks

I bought a sanicon turbo 700 (along with a sleeved Entegra hose) and the metal mounting bracket....I thought that was a bit difficult. I however did not realize how rare ABS fittings are these days(specifically 3”) I ordered from multiple online vendors (amazon “other sellers” Home Depot and Lowe’s) I think I have enough fittings now. The next challenge is removing and reattaching the plumbing from/to the holding tank, the connection is a bit perplexing has anyone disconnected their holding tanks? Our coach is a 2015 45B.

Thanks and good luck!

After finding and fixing water damage on the passenger side we bay I have installed the sanicon turbo 700. I still need to install the 2 switches (one in the wet bay one in the half bath like my dump valves) I worked off of a 2018 plumbing diagram fairly close (I did write down the different pipe measurements) . I will wet test on or before Friday but so far all looks good.

I too had trouble finding the black ABS fittings at Lowes, Home Depot and my local industrial plumbing supply house. They aren't legal to use in residential because ABS can catch fire so all you seem to find are the white PVC drain fittings. However, I did find lots of ABS fittings at the Menards store. Apparently they use them in farm use fairly often.

You can adapt ABS to PVC if needed. There is a special adhesive that is used to join the two different plastics.

After reviewing the pro's and con's of standard dump vs macerator type dump i decided to go the portable route and use it when I need to. I found a used (sounds gross), but it was a factory return, I believe the fuse was left out of the control causing it to be a "Dead Unit". Purchased it tested it, and it pumps like crazy. I then picked up a 75' 3/4" HD garden hose and it is all in a tote. Also forgot to mention I setup a 20 foot 12 gauge seo cord with a fuse and alligator clips on one end that I can connect to my 12V batteries.

The pump that I am using is a Flojet 18555-000A, Portable RV Waste Pump in a case.

One Lowe’s near me (40 min one way drive) had a fair to good selection of abs. The reas I ordered on line I have quite a bit left over. I did however make a list of pipe and fittings needed . I do need a tutorial on posting pictures(I took a few) this project would be much easier/faster now.

I tested the plumbing 24hrs no leaks. I emptied the tanks with the sanicon (still have the 3”gravity option also) it was fast. The way I plumbed the sanicon the grey tank can gravity drain .

I am on my first trip using the sanicon turbo ,it works great.the installation took a while determining fittings needed(and ordering on line) and fixing water damage(I did let Entegra know about this common but hidden problem and the easy fix) the installation was fairly quick after all fittings arrived and very clean looking. I did write a list of fittings and pipe lights needed if anyone with a 2015 or older Cornerstone wants to do this mod.
