Spartan code was SPN4364. It corresponds to a different Cummins code.
The more I talk to the service advisor the more I think the parts guy is full of sh...
Told us no part was available in the region and could only find one in Arizona. Said he ordered it overnight on Monday but as of noon today it hadn't been ordered. Cummins in Arizona today said they needed to find the part at their facility and would then ship it. It is supposed to arrive tomorrow at noon so we can get on the road by 5pm. Meanwhile I had them do the annual engine and generator service. We are at the area Cummins sales and service center.
It seems like the part is on the same side as the DEF tank but closer to the rear of the coach. I didn't crawl under but it appears to be cylindrical in shape.

The campaign IS for the SCR and NOT the DPF. The DPF is the Diesel Particulate Filter and is NOT part of the campaign. The SCR is a system, correct, but also , colloquially, one of the two large 'cans' that are stacked on each other at the rear of the coach where the hot exhaust air comes out of the engine.

The entire SCR system 'can' gets replaced. The big shiny looking thing. Then, your ECU gets programmed to match it, a regen is triggered to measure its performance, and then, if all is well, you can hit the road.

I can confirm it is not the DPF.

From this and post #10, it sounds like they are replacing the catalyst portion of the “exhaust processor” which includes DEF injection, the DPF, regen unit, and catalyst. I thought the catalyst portion was part of the DPF unit.

So one of “the two large cans” is the catalyst unit? Guess that makes sense.

Yes, it is one of the big tube looking things in the back of the coach. That is what is replaced under the campaign.

My State Farm insurance covered the $3,200 tow..

If you own a 2014 or 2015 just go to a qualifying Cummins dealer
And have this done before it leaves you on the side of the road..
When you say 2014 or 2015, you're talking about the year of your coach, right? I have a 2017 coach but I think my engine is a 2013.

Yes, you can easily call Cummins and give them your engine number and they can see if your engine is in the campaign.

Good ... you should be back on the road in no time. Just took a couple hours to get my new one installed and everything buttoned up.

SCR Problem

Recently purchased a 2011 Anthem in Tucson Arizona on the way home to Bend Oregon had a check engine light come on in Beatty NV, no one their or in Tonopah NV could read the code. We googled it and it was a def issue we continued on to Battle Mt NV where we fueled up only to have it go into the 5mph limp mode. Ended up being towed to Elko NV to a Cummins shop there. They ended up doing the SCR campaign on it and replaced the NOX sensor. I would highly recommend the Cummins shop in Elko NV if anybody ever needs to have any work done, when your in the area. First time on the forum so far I have found this forum very helpful.
