Unfortunately a good friend was just diagnosed with aggressive non curable cancer. They just called and asked if I knew if dealers buy used coaches. They have a 2019 4018 Dutch Star. Told em I have no idea but would throw it out here to the experts and gather some data for them. Any data would be appreciated.

Although I don't have any personal experience, I've read posts from a number of individuals who have used National Indoor RV Centers (https://www.nirvc.com/) which provides a consignment service. As I understand it, you basicly drop the coach of and they do the rest. I'm sure thay take a share of the deal, but, the posts seem to be in general agreement that it's a very easy process and well worth the cost.

NIRVC charges 7.5% of the cost for doing a consignment. That compares favorably to other dealers. In my case, the coach sold in about a month. In fact, the money showed up in my account just last night. Easy peasy.

Yep, National Indoor RV Centers (Phoenix, Dallas (Lewisville), Nashville, Atlanta) will sell the coach on consignment. Never done it but lots of guys on here have done it and they are an honest, straight-up group of people.

They can handle getting the coach to one of their facilities and employ about 10 full time coach drivers that move coaches back and forth. I think they are reluctant to take old coaches but the Dutchy is a 19 and should be marketable. It will cost some money if they need to move the coach, but they will be my "go to" people whenever I need it.

Sorry to hear your friend's plight, but it is one that we all face sooner or later and the only silver lining is an honest dealer that can probably help your friend.

We sold ours through RVTrader. It went to the very first person who called on it. The entire transaction worked without a hitch. We are still in touch with the buyers.

We sold our 17 through RVTrader. The process was fairly easy. We searched the web for comparable sales and listings. We went a little on the high side because we knew our coach was in good condition. The first person who looked at it purchased it. We have also heard positive things about NIRVC consignment as well.

We have sold through RV z trader as well as NIRVC. NIRVC is the simplest, cleanest and safest way to sell your RV, they talk all the risks and guarantee the money. Just drop it and the title off and get ready to spend the check.

NIRVC is also a Newmar dealer and could do them justice for the sale. In other terminal situations they have picked up the coach for the customer which was a large burden lifted. Call Angie 214-392- 1100 to discuss the situation.

We just sold our Aspire through NIRVC Nashville (La Vergne). We dropped off our coach, and 5 days later it was sold.

We've sold through RV Trader in the past; however, this time around we wanted the safest and easiest process, and NIRVC certainly came through in every aspect.
