Sewer Smell
We just took our coach out of storage. We cleaned and rinsed black and gray before putting it away a couple of weeks ago.
Now we get an awful sewer smell when flushing the mid ship toilet. No exhaust fan on.
It's a macerator toilet, so it's not open to black tank when we flush, right?
Any ideas or suggestions?

If you are using chemicals, try it without. It took a while but after stopping the use of chemicals for a while my smells went away. I have not used any in several years.

Probably the air vent under the sink, supposed to let air in so water drains properly but block gases from getting out. They get stuck sometimes, slap it around a bit to try and reseat the valve. Lots of threads on this topic, many have recommended replacing the factory vent with a higher quality unit.
Also, make sure all your traps have water in them, have you run the washer lately? If the traps dry out sewer gases come up thru the drains.

Been there, done that. This post will give you step by step instruction with photos on what to replace the cheap sink vents with. http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/had-...ay-220790.html
Just took the factory tour last week and they said the improved the vent valves, but I guess they still fail. Although I have not seen a post on one failing in quiet awhile. It was common on the Classics.

That would be an AAV, (air admittance valve), and could be the source of your sewer smell.

I was led to believe and can see that our mid toilet is not a Macerator and goes directly to the black tank on our 17 C.

The water in your fresh water tank may have gone bad. It can smell like sewer also. Drain some water from the outside tank drain into your hand and smell it. If it smells, then you will need to treat the tank with bleach at a ratio of 1/4 cup per 15 gallons. Good luck!

My cornerstone does not use a cacerator toilet in the 1/2 bath. I don't use chemicals. The suggestion to make sure th P traps are full are spot on. My problem went away when I shortend the washer drain hose and covered the washer drain pipe.

Follow broboxes post on this. I was having the same issue a few weeks. I put the new vent cap from lowes on and so far it's worked great...😀
