About to replace #10 and #11 shade motors as soon as I can get more from CS as they are both on the same front roller bracket, WooHoo, two for the price of one disassembly.

If I have to replace one motor on a shade I replace both while there. The other motor will fail so get rid of both at once. That's not to say they won't fail again, but hopefully they will last for awhile.
Whatever else Entegra does they need to fix this problem. We have been putting up with this for several model yrs. with bandaid fixes. Time to make a large sight adjustment. Noel

OK. Here's the challenge. I changed my 12th shade motor this morning. I timed it with a stopwatch. Time was 26 minutes 39 seconds. It was one of the more difficult as far as access. It was P/S over the factory built desk. Time includes removal and replacement of lambrequin as well as adjustment of the shade. Had the tools laid out so that I didn't have to go scrounging for them. It was also a night shade, which I think might be a little faster. Down to one spare motor again.

Right there with you Bill, just changed my 12th one and also down to one spare. Three of them I have changed twice. When will United/Entegra figure this out?

I know and share your frustration. I know they have pushed US hard for a permanent fix. Switching out the fleet would be an expensive proposition...they are probably not prepared to do that. I, too, hope US can get their act together.

The Automotion Tiffin uses are much better and independently controllable with a remote.

After 6 months I just had the first shade quit working. Do the 2015's have the same motor everyone is having problems with?

UNREAL! for a $300,000+ MH and I own one of them. I am sure I will have the same problem when I finally get to use mine. The factory knows I have had all of the other problems.

Thanks Dave. United can either bite the bullet and replace all the shade motors now (when they find a fix) or continue on there present course and slowly replace three times that many shade motors in a year.

Just replaced a toll window night shade and coming up it moves so slow compared to the others that it runs out of time and stops 3/4 of the way up. Have to cycle the night shades down for a second and then back up to get that one all the way up. Looks like I will replacing it again, for the third time.

Guess I have been lucky. We have been in our 2013 since Dec. 2012 and only had two motors go out. AND both of those did not completely quit. The first one the factory replaced and it actually worked the morning they replaced it. The other is out now and has been for a few weeks (got a new motor but have not put it in) and just last night it went down when I put the blinds down and went back up this morning. SO............I am wondering if it is all in the motors OR if there is something else going on here. Not sure, just wondering. BUT one thing is certain, the shade company and Entegra need to get this fixed once and for all.
