Just to add to this thread... My toll window shade moters failed early and replaced them with two yellow ones. Subsequently all of the front ones failed over time. Replaced initially with yellow motors.... replaced again with red ones.

Now, 6 mos out of warranty, the last of the yellow toll window motors failed. Called CS and they sent 2 replacement reds.

Any Home Depot or Lowe's can make the change over very easy for those that wish to go manual. I have changed a few motors and it's easier than dropping each shade manually ever night, night after night.

Honestly we weren't sure the power shades were a big plus when we first bought the Anthem, but now we love them. Yes, I've changed a bunch of yellow motors, but Entegra has continued to support me on this issue and I'm now red throughout. I'm sure a red one will fail now and then but it's a pain I'll happily suffer for the convenience of power shades.

Having manual shades for 11 years, I remember the horror stories of those that had to restring their shades when a cord broke. I had to redo all of my mounting cords......changing a motor is much easier. Manual shades aren't that easy either when they break Been there done that.
