I too have worked with Shawn for a couple of years. His job was quite stressful.. That position requires constant negotiations with the various departments within Lazydays for a service slot for one of his customers. He was the face of Lazydays service, explaining why your coach still is not done....while the individual department managers for the most part are not. We hold our service advisor responsible yet in fact he has little power over the other departments. I have shared my observations with many levels of management over the years, yet only thing that has changed is the management. The service experience has not, in my opinion. I too wish Shawn well, I am sure his experience at Lazydays will serve him well in his next position.

This is very unfortunate for us owners! Shawn worked very hard, opening opportunities for his customers. Lazy Days service departments need a complete overhaul. How many times are we parked there...waiting...waiting for parts....waiting for approvals...waiting for a particular techs because he is their resident expert for a particular technology. WAITING!
Shawn worked hard to cut through the waiting game and their internal red tape to get us back on the road.
I wish him well.

We are astonished to hear that Shawn was fired....he was by far was the best thing Lazydays service department had going for them. We worked with him many times and always scheduled our appointments to have him as our service advisor, he was outstanding in his job and worked endless hours to get things done, he will definitly be missed!

He was about the only thing I liked about lazydays. After three service appointments and purchasing a rig from them, I know they lost a valuable asset.

Hate to see him leave, but my sales person was fired a year ago at LD. While in Tampa this winter I looked him up and he was working at another RV dealership, lost a bunch of weight and said he was doing much better. At the time he was fired he was devastated.
Life has a strange way sometimes of telling us to move on. Shawn did a great job but you could tell he was stressed out. I have to believe he will end up in a better job, better pay, less stress and a lot less coach owners and OEM manufacturers telling him what to do at the crown club.
Well I guess we will all have to break in the new guy that replaces Shawn.

I want to thank everyone for the kind words.
In my 12 years at Lazy Days I made many Friends and that is my only regret that I will not get to see many of you anymore.
Life is stress free and I have been spending lots of time at the Lake House and discovering there is more then working 60 to 80 hours a Week.
