I have to remove shower seat because of water issue. I have taken out the easy fasteners but there is a fastener that holds seat to wall. I have attached image of fastener//pin. I thought it might be an Allen screw but it is not. Has any one removed their shower seat?

In the picture it is a pin that holds the seat arms to the mount. So I got a #12 x 1 1/4” hex head self tapping screw and screwed it into that pin. You can see the hollow end of the pin in the previously attached photo. Once it was screwed in there securely, I took a nail pry bar(see attached photo) put the flat side around the fastener and hit the pry bar with a hammer. Because the inside of the mount was so corroded (see attached photo)I had to really give it several wacks. The bracket in the photo actually is held to the wall by 4 3”screws each. I was able to extract all screws except for one where the head had stripped out. I used a speed out (see photo) to remove that screw.
You may ask how long did it take. I always say if I got paid by the job I’d be homeless, paid by the hour a multimillionaire.
I fail to understand what the problem was initially, and it almost gives me the chills to contemplate ripping those fixtures off the wall..... I hope that I never need to tackle that little job.
Good luck on the repair, but it gives me chills to think of the process.....
