Side & top marker lights.

Today I checked the marker lights on our 2014 Aspire, and 7 of the 16 lights are not working.
They are LED's and all sealed, so the whole light need to be replaced.
Does anyone know where to get them, or is there a recall for these lights.

If the lights have any letters or numbers on them you may want to enter "clearance" lights including the number(s) and/or letter (s) then do a web search. Or you might call the coach manufacturer and perhaps they can help find a replacement source.

Good luck

Lots of posts about upgrading to much better lights. The factory lights are not worth the time it takes to replace. They are 2 piece lights, they all leak and will short out. Replacement lights are a sealed one piece lights http://www.irv2.com/forums/f278/clea...ml#post2971275

A tip on removing the lights. Do not remove the 1 inch round silicone plug. Instead cut a 1/4 inch square with a razor knife to pull enough wire to make the connection. The smaller hole is much easier to seal back up.

I used the dark brown, matching silicone and sealed the heck out of them to avoid leaks. Remove the tape and replace with the chrome trim, nice neat job.

The side markers linked in the post are 10 LED and direct replacement with the same hole pattern. Also added 5 more and made them all flashing. Lots of posts in the search function.

The manufacturer for all your exterior lamps, brake and marker is KAPER. you can order over the phone ar 1-800-336-2011. Many have changed all the lights with more led per fixture or with a stainless bezel, if you go that route just search the forum and see Some other options or online.

These lights are the same as the stock clearance lights. They are available on several web sites. Look for places that sell truck lighting and equipment.

Thanks all for your information, I think I'm going with the lights Brobox suggested, they look good and life-time warranty.
I know it's a bit of work to cut the old ones out but I had some leaks on the front lights before so now I can seal it real good.Click image for larger version

One of the problems with the leaking factory lights and leaks inside is a thing called "wicking". The wires at the back of the factory lights are not sealed. When the non sealed lights fill with water, the water can then travel down the wires to inside of the coach. No amount of silicone around the light will stop that.

Good choice to upgrade the lights and avoid future problems. They look nicer too

You can get replacement lights at Pilot/Flying J. They sell Roadpro led marker lights (10 LED) for $10 bucks with the chrome bezel. I changed the side marker lights to these and added more. They look great. Will do the front and rear caps next.

I plugged one of the 10 LED marker light into the clearance light and thought they were over kill. The six LED that BigMoneySr used were perfect. They also fit the light indentation of the cap perfect. The bezel of the 10 LED lights were to large, but the light itself without the bezel fit fine. The 6 LED with the bezel was a perfect fit and looks finished to match the side marker lights.
