Sleep Number Bed air leak
I have a mattress that was replaced by recall 5? years ago. I looking for a replacement air chamber. I'm asked for Mattress Details but I haven't found any labels. A search on this forum, I found HF5 as a possible number. I have a couple stamped numbers on the chamber, but didn't help
I have a RV king Bed (72 by 80 inch) that had a small leak near the head corner, top side. I had been repaired by previous owner. It started leaking so I tried repairing with a bigger patch but didn't have good glue for the canvas like material.
I will replace if cost are reasonable. Other options Repair #3 or replace with a Queen.

Sleep Number has a 25 year warranty. First 2 years for free, afterwards it’s pro-rated. If you don’t have the info on the warranty, it is on the internet. You will have to get the number off the bladder so they know if it’s a king or California king.

I had a queen bed sleep number bed in my 2007 Ellispe
In 2017 the one side leaked, they replaced it at 50% cost.
I think I paid $100 for the one side. It was easy to call and order the replacement. The number was in my manual bag for the RV. They just needed the exact model number.
Came in about 5 days.
Easy to install, they also sent extra connectors and o rings.

Entegra Customer Service should be able to tell you what mattress is in that coach. Have your VIN number ready and give them a call. Once you have ID'd the mattress call Sleep Number.

I bit the bullet this morning and ordered a new air chamber. The downside is a replacement is only sold in pairs. I decided against a repair kit due the corner location.

Just went through the exact same issue at the S&B. It is a shame the Sleep Number only sells pairs of air chambers. I should have looked on EBay for someone sell a Left side the pair they did not need. Sometimes my brain works after the fact.
BTW I patched the corner to see if it would hold just for fun, it did not.

Did you know that if you leave your mattress pumped up over "80" in Silverdale, WA. (sea level) and drive to Denver crossing Hwy 70, your mattress will EXPLODE?
That is a Hong Kong no-sh!tter. Oh, so will all of you "sea level" bags of potato chips!
Sounds like WW3 in the chip cabinet and mortars in the bedroom!
Had to get a foam mattress for the week because the sleep number stores don't carry just the Chambers.

Subvet has a point. You must lower the pressure in your air mattress before gaining any appreciable altitude. I have had inflatable mattresses in RV's for 20 years and never had a leak bacause I always reduce the pressure before gaining altitude.

I also had the same issue with one of the Air Mattresses Leaking. I called Entegra CS and they said call the manufacturer. I called them and after providing proof of purchase (of the our Anthem), they pro-rated the use and I paid $154.00 for it. I am hoping the factory will reimburse me as it had been leaking since new. The Air Mattress Company sent out a complete set so I have a spare.

We both use our sleep number bed in the middle setting but we still lower the air down if we are going to be in any elevation. The bed is comfortable but I am not sure I would go that route if I need to replace it. A nice quality non inflatable mattress might be easier and more reliable.
I get the adjustable advantage if someone likes a firm mattress and your spouse wants a soft mattress.
Is the reason these mattresses are so common in RV’s because of less weight?

Standard practice is to deflate both mattress chambers down to 35-40 psi (from 60 - 70 psi normally) anytime we are going to go over a significant set of hills like the Continental Divide or the Appalachians anywhere along the east coast. We don't bother deflating for rises of lets say 200 near sea level to 600 - 1,000 feet lets say, but any real climbs, the beds are deflated, hopefully in the morning before travel. However, if we forget and then encounter a significant climb or elevation change, I simply pull off at the next off ramp or if too close to the climb, well off the interstate, and deflate both sides quickly and effortlessly by me lying on each side to accelerate the decompression.
We also never leave both batteries in the remote control unit as it will tend to self-activate and drain the batteries. A small velcro strap will attach one of the AAA batteries to the outside of the case for storage in a drawer.
Never had a problem so far, and hopefully never will.

I took 100% of the air out of my mattress when traveling. Especially in the mountains.
We have a Freedom Air mattress in our 2020 Horizon 42Q. I do the same, take all of the air out before travel. Make sure, if your bed folds up for the slide to go in, you should empty the air after you raise the head of the bed.

Bought my "bladder" from Amazon. Only needed one side and they sold me a single side. Simple 15 minute install. Comes with everything you need, and very reasonable.
