EC also recommends using 303 protectant on the slide seals. I use baby powder. Verticals and bottom seals are easy to do.
The top seals can be accessed by bringing the slide in a bit to reach above the woodwork.
When you lube/treat the slide gaskets, it's a good time to check the slide motor retention bolts for security. Three of the four motors are easy. The hard one doesn't get checked on the same schedule.
