At Entegra University it is recommended to use baby powder and a feather duster. I use a condiment bottle to squirt the baby powder on the seals. PJ probably has a video on it in his classroom series on YouTube.

One thing about the spray lubes, and I use them along with the baby powder. You have to watch out for drips or runs, not sure if any can harm the paint or clear coat. I start at one end of the coach and work my way forward. Then go back and wipe any missed overspray, runs or drips. Biggest pita is dragging the ladder around.
