Slide motor issue

My drivers side slide motor is clunking. It's like there is a tooth stripped in the reduction gears. All the other gears and pins look fine. Has anyone had the same issue? Did you need to replace the whole motor or just the gears? Did you do the work yourself or have a tech do it?

Call Entegra they have a gear replacement kit and they can tell you the procedure. I had the procedure described to me and it sounded like a 5-7 degree of difuculty on a scale of 10, but that depends very much on your mechanical skills.

I had that noise on the Travel Supreme, thankful it was only a loose motor. If the motor is tight, Marc's post is step 2.
