Chuck, I probably didn’t notice the problem with all those motors running, not to mention the tv

I hadn’t but apparently they got it out and it wouldn’t close. Guess I’ve just joined the slide failure club. Sheesh
Maybe it is just the cold Atlanta weather making it difficult to move!

So on departure you start engine to air up, raise jacks, continue to air up, shut down motor to hear slides and then restart engine?

Yep, that’s the routine at our house. Carryover from the first Entegras that the slides would not move with the engine running, ether direction.

That is what I do. Normally after we are aired up, DW may bring the slides in while I am unhooking. I can still hear the slides while outside and after so many years, she has a good ear for things that don't sound right too.

Thanks...much to learn on this “new to us” Aspire! This week’s challenge was troubleshooting intermittent function of LP side on AquaHot 375LP....bad control thermostat.

That is the value of this forum is learning. I see other brand owners fire the engine up and never shut them off while leaving. They have the same slide motors, gears, etc that we do. If they had a problem, they would never hear it. We spent a month on a corner lot this summer. I could not believe the number of people that ran their diesels why hooking up the toads....Why breath the fumes while hooking up? Not only wasting fuel, but disrespectful for those that might that might be enjoying coffee outside and not wanting to breath diesel fumes or hear the d--- thing running for 10 minutes. I won't even go into the AH's that left at 0530 or 0630 and left their engines running while hooking up. I picked the wrong corner lot for sure. I can't change stupid, only locations.
