Slide out Island won't fully close
Our slide out island all of a sudden will not fully close -- see picture. When you push it in, it has a hard stop. Like something is blocking its path, which may well be the case. I don't see where anything call fall behind to block the slide path. I removed several drawers in hopes of seeing the inside of the area, however the slide island is an enclosed type build so you can see behind the island from inside the drawers.
Any ideas here??
I know I will have to remove the slide, but hot sure yet how to do so.
TIA

With it pulled all the way out, look for the release on the side of the slide. It will be right next to where the inmost slide, the one screwed to the side of the island, meets the next one, and on that outer one. It is likely to be either black plastic of white plastic. There are a couple of styles. The two most common are lever and pushbutton. If lever, one side gets pushed up and the other down as you push against the middle slide (I assume this is a 3-piece slide) to disengage. If pushbutton, push on the exposed (probably square) plastic to release the slide. You might have to move the slide slightly in to get it to release.
The other drawers in the coach are a lot easier to deal with and probably use the same style. Try one of those first to see how it works. Once you know how it works, it's not hard. In fact, since it's the island, you'll want to take all the drawers out of it first anyway. It's possible that with them out you will be able to find the problem without actually removing the island, too. If in fact it has to come out, it's helpful if you can find something to support the end of the island, both to remove it and to put it back in after you find and resolve the problem. We have a small collapsible step stool that's perfect for this on our coach.
This is all fresh in my mind because I just replaced the slides on ours. A PO spilled something all over them that made them rust, and I wanted that "clean and shiny" look instead. It's not difficult, just awkward.

It might be easier to pull the garbage can slide out. It's certainly lighter than the countertop slide. You should be able to see what's obstructing the kitchen slide from there.

I have a 2015 coach and the island in mine rides on a steel carriage that is screwed into the cabinet. There is no access to that space without removing the island itself. Here's how I did it.
1. Remove all drawers (described above)
2. Pull island out to full extension
3. Lay on the floor and using a pencil, mark on the plywood around where the steel carriage meets the wood....this will let you line things up when putting it back together.
4. Go inside the bottom drawer opening and locate and remove the 4 screws that hold the island to the steel carriage below...they go through the floor of the drawer section...
5. Lift cabinet out and then you'll see whats blocking your operation.
Hope this helps!
Ps... in my coach, the outside TV backs behind the island...if yours is the same I'd look there first for a possible lost remote or other item that is wedged in there...

Most likely, something feel over behind it from one of the drawers. Pull out the bottom drawer and see what is trapped back there.

This is what the inside of the kitchen cabinet looks like (minus the electrical ...thats my addition)
The island cabinet slides on the black plate back into this shell....your blockage is in this void

Thank you John. (jmorse1), I followed your guidance and removed the island slide. A pet comb had somehow fallen behind it and was blocking it from closing fully. It apparently had slide between the top of the slide and the bottom of the counter that it slides into and fallen behind. Good tip to mark the bottom of the slide to relocate the screws when reinstalling.

The tell tail signs of trying to beat it closed with a rubber mallet.
