I think that installing too hard or too soft a shear pin could lead to problems, so it is probably best to get them from Entegra.

While you are in there to replace the shear pin I suggest putting Locktite on the motor mounting bolts and re-tightening since these have been shown to loosen with use and you don't want to have to go in there again to tighten those bolts.

The larger question to me is why is the slide so bound up
that you are shearing pins at all ?
It would seem that until you figure that out, your just
putting bandaids on the problem.
