Slide switch/button problem

The front door side push button for slide stopped working on extend but worked on retract. A new panel was sent from firefly and when I installed, same thing. Slide works fine with remote. Any thoughts on where the problem lies since it appears the button/panel is ok? 16í 45B Cornerstone. Thanks. Rick

Sounds like a bad connection or possibly a broken/pinched wire from the switch to the control panel. If you have a remote switch that works fine, there will be a main control box for that system. I would start by finding that box and figuring out which wires go to the slide switch. From there you can check continuity on the wires going to the switch.

Just a update on problem. Working with NIRVC in Dallas on phone, we were able to use a volt meter to determine large board in mid bath was bad. New one coming. Thankful for extended warranty! Rick
