I used Tough Top Awnings for slide topper replacement. Great product, excellent company to deal with. Had great suggestions to make the installation go easier. Stood behind their product. toughtopawnings.com

If you do not want to replace them again in a few years get new material from Stone Voss. They will custom make slide toppers out of the best material available and use the best thread.

Also watch RV Geeks installs on YT. They give pretty good explanations and steps.

Stone Voss, call them and they will walk you thru the process of making sure you get the right size etc. We replaced the supper slide one with 2 of use. The job was pretty easy and I won't hesitate to do the rest when it is time.

my problem is i have replaced my slide topper awning and my slideout stays open most
of the time, problem is when it rains water sits on abd puddles up on my slide topper
awning creating very heavy weight of the water sitting on top of the topper awining.
any body else have this problem? what is the fix or solution? i am afraid with all this
weight of the water it is going to tear or rip or rot out my topper awning???
any suggestions or solutions is greatly appreciated. thanks

You can start by increasing the tension on the slide out covers. If that doesn't help you could replace them with Stone Voss covers. They are much thicker and do not tend to sag.

Another vote for Stone Voss.
I replaced all 4. PTFE thread, double stitched, heavier material, 10 year non-prorated warranty. Cost was about the same as ordering replacements from Carefree with the upcharge for the PTFE thread.

The thread fails first, so if you go with someone else, pay extra for the PTFE.
Stone Vos says they put a slight arc in the hems so the center has a bit of extra tension and water is less likely to collect. For me this is true for three of them, they never collect water. The long PS topper still puddles slightly but not as bad as the old one.

I have seen use a blow up beach ball, stick it in there and it creates a little hump to help drain.

If you leave your slide out for extended periods of time, get some styrofoam balls sized to fit between the topper. Run a rope between them and pull them through to support the topper. Use as many balls as needed for the length of the slide. When you need to pull slide in just pull the balls out.
